1. File processing

All file processing occurs locally in your browser. Convert26's file and document tools — including PDF, image, text, and video tools — process your files using JavaScript, the HTML Canvas API, WebAssembly, and in-browser libraries. Files you load into a tool are read into your device's memory and processed on your device. They are not uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted to Convert26 servers for processing.

Because files do not leave your browser, Convert26 does not retain, back up, or access the contents of files you process. When you close the tab or page, the processed data is cleared immediately and is no longer held in your browser memory.

2. Account information

If you create an account, Convert26 collects your email address and name. This information is stored securely in our database to manage authentication. Your account profile is retained until you delete it — either directly through your account settings or by sending a written deletion request to support@convert26.com. We do not sell your account information.

3. Contact form

When you submit the contact form, Convert26 collects your name, email address, subject category, and message. This information is stored securely on our server so we can respond to your enquiry. Submitted messages are retained until you request their deletion or send a written deletion request to support@convert26.com. We do not share this information with third parties.

4. Advertising

Visitors may see advertisements. Advertising may be served by third-party networks including Google AdSense, which use cookies and similar tracking technologies to deliver advertisements, but only after you accept cookies in our consent banner. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ad Settings.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits.
